-There are two types of litmus paper, red and blue
-Red Litmus paper turns blue when dipped into bases
-Blue Litmus paper turns red when dipped into acids.
3. Universal Indicator
-Universal Indicator is a liquid based indicator
-When put it into an acidic solution, you may see the color red, orange or yellow
-When put it into a neutral solution, you will see the color green
-When put it into a basic solution, you will see the colors blue, indigo or violet
